Chapman's Reach, along with Red Mill Village is Thorndike's signature Smart Growth community.  It was the second Active Adult community built by Thorndike and is the winner of a wide array of Best in the Nation awards presented by the National Association of Homebuilder's. Chapman's Reach is reminiscent of a bygone era. It offers attached and single-family homes built along a series of pedestrian friendly streets and parks. Cars are relegated to garages accessed from rear alleys. Residents regularly sit on their front porches as their neighbors walk by on these pedestrian oriented streets.  Chapman's Reach is part of the larger Marina Bay community which features one of the largest marinas in New England and offers a wide array of restaurants and shops.
