Less than 2 miles from the keystone intersection of Routes 495 and 290, WestRidge is close to shopping and restaurants, with a Hannaford and a Super Stop & Shop less than a mile away. Boston, Cape Cod, Worcester and Providence are all within an easy drive. The Route 85 extension road provides rapid access to Route 495, the Solomon Pond Mall and several apple-picking orchards, which are less than 10 minutes away.
The exciting Assabet River Rail Trail (ARRT), which is currently under development, runs along an old railroad line and the river from Marlborough through Hudson, Stow, Maynard and ends at the commuter rail stations in Acton. Near WestRidge, the ARRT departs from the river bank as the river passes along Wheeler Road. The nearest connection to the ARRT is about ½ mile from WestRidge.
