Another season comes to end in the Vegetable Patch at Red Mill Village. Our gardeners enjoyed crops of tomatoes, cumbers, squash, snap peas, and a variety of other nutritious veggies. “This year a cutting flower garden was added with great success” commented Jack Cunningham, Garden Club Leader. Jack was also happy to report that the “bunny fence” kept all the rabbits on the out the carrot patch! Hurricane Irene provided minimal amount of damage, as the crops were well staked. Clean up begins mid October.
