A candidate should have prior sales experience, not necessarily in real estate, but with excellent customer facing, organizational and closing skills. Training provided. Qualifications and Characteristics of a Successful Sales Manager
High Level Job Description:

The job is a fulltime, on-site sales manager whose primary responsibility is to sell newly constructed homes. The sales manager will conduct daily open houses, including both weekend days, follow up with prospects, manage all aspects of sales process and be deeply involved in marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:
While the Sales Manager is not required to have all of these qualifications, they are preferred.

• A college degree
• Formal sales training with a major organization.
• Prior successful sales experience, not necessarily in real estate sales.
• Prior real estate experience, in real estate sales, research or property management
• Superior computer skills. Excellent familiarity with MS-Office suite.
• Understanding of multi-channel marketing, including electronic, print, voice to voice and face to face.
• Ability to plan, budget, schedule and conduct marketing events.
• Ability and willingness to outreach to brokers and others.
• Strong comfort with and understanding of electronic marketing including websites, internet marketing and social networking.
• Excellent and disciplined management reporting capability.
• Strong comfort with telephone selling, including a certain amount of "cold calling".
• Ability to perform competitive analysis, given the research parameters.
