1021 Kingston’s Place
In the permitting phase, this 730-unit mixed-use, transit-oriented development adjacent to the Kingston Commuter Rail Station in Kingston, Massachusetts was awarded the 2007 Outstanding Planning/Planning Project Award by the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Planning Association and the 2007 Massachusetts Smart Growth / Smart Energy Award.
WestRidge
Currently under construction, this 146-home active adult (55 years and better) community in Hudson, Massachusetts, features attached and detached homes, meeting house, village green, walking trails, and pocket parks within a traditionally designed neighborhood. Builder’s Association of Greater Boston (BAGB) awarded WestRidge two awards in 2007, including the Gold for “Best Innovative Land Planning Design”.
Red Mill Village
Currently under construction, 156 attached and detached homes modeled on the principles of Traditional Neighborhood Design in Norton, Massachusetts, with a meeting house, pool, walking trails, victory gardens, and mixed-use Red Mill Crossing building. Winner of 10 national awards in 2006 from Builder Magazine (for Active Adult Community and Clubhouse) and the National Association of Home Builders 50+ Housing Coucil and National Sales & Marketing Council. Red Mill Village was also awarded four BAGB awards in 2005 including best single-family, active adult (55+) and attached community of the year.
Thorndike at the Pinehills
As one of the builders at The Pinehills in Plymouth, Massachusetts, Thorndike Development was awarded the Grand Award for the Chilton Home by Builder Magazine in 2005, a National Sales & Marketing Award in 2004 from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and five BAGB awards in 2003 including Best Single-Family Community of the year.
GreatBrook
116 single-family attached condominium homes in Norton, Massachusetts, including a clubhouse and victory gardens. In 2005, GreatBrook was awarded the Silver National Housing Award for Best Active Adult Community in the Nation (up to 150 homes) by NAHB. Thorndike also received four BAGB awards for GreatBrook in 2003.

A traditional neighborhood design, 48 single-family homes, 104 attached condominiums, parks, tree-lined streets, and adjacent to a marina, restaurants and shops. Winner of the Silver National Award in 2000 from NAHB’s National Sales and Merchandising Council; 13 BGAB awards in 1999 and 2001.
